Last year Home Start provided services to over 39,000 San Diegans.  Many of those are families and children who have experienced abuse or neglect and require professional, confidential counseling to heal from trauma of maltreatment.  

The Rivers of Hope Foundation supports Home Start as it reaches out to parents struggling to cope with poverty, illness and other crises.  The Rivers of Hope Foundation recently made cash grant to Home Start in San Diego to help it reach it's objectives.
